One of the nicest homestays, I have stayed in... The location is superb, full of greenery and birds... The mornings were beautiful and peaceful... Our daughter loved this place... Nishant ji and the caretakers, made sure our stay was comfortable and all our needs were taken care of.
The food may take some time as they prepare it fresh, so it's better to order in advance... But the wait is worth it... The food we had was really good... My personal recommendation is their Pakoras and Hot chocolate (One of the best, I have had in a long long time)...
Rooms were cozy, bathrooms needed a little upgrade but were clean...
Overall a nice and memorable stay. Would love to come back again.

We stayed here for a peaceful one day stay, but, i would recommend it for a couple of days. This property is at a good height and amidst nature. It's a private property so you will see the garden is well maintained and the vibes are great.
Mr Nishant is very much cooperative and he was able to address electricity related issues in a quick time. Mr. Nishant is very humble and understanding nature. Also Kuldeep who is the caretaker took care of things very well.
This property is just 15-20 minutes from Tikkar Taal and safety doesn't seem to be an issue.
This is a legendary property dedicated to Smt Usha Sharma who played the lead role in the Chandrawal movie. It was the biggest grossing hit once. It was an honor to stay at this property. I shall visit again... I wish I could have stayed for more time. Thank you Mr. Nishant for making this a comfortable stay!

Had a great stay at Chandrawal Kunj Forest Retreat, Morni, a lovely resort with all the comforts of home. Set on a quiet hill overlooking the forest, resort is a truly relaxing and revitalizing. A short byway from the main road lead us into the property surrounded by lush forest. The location impressed me even before I stepped into the property. Host Mr. Nishant was extremely helpful and always ready to put extra effort to make the stay comfortable. The rooms were warm and cosy. Nice and friendly staff. Good food is another thing that makes or breaks your holiday. And here, there is no dearth for delicious homely food. Every single dish we had was appetizing. The rustling sound of trees was a joy to listen. A place truly in the lap of nature. Just 1 hour 15 minutes drive from Panchkula and you will feel you are staying somewhere in Himachal.

We visited @ this property for food (dinner). When we reached, honour of the property welcomed us. We ask for jain food they prepare it very carefully. Food was fresh and very tasty. They personally guide their cook. When we take our dinner Mr Nishant and his wife talked with us like family member. We feels like family with them. We decided and visit there again for breakfast. Surroundings of the property was awesome. I thought (kaash maine room bhi yahin book kiya hota) If anyone wants to spent quality time with their family, friends or relatives this is the place. You can enjoy very much here with group tour.
Mr Nishant and his wife's nature is very very good.

बहुत ही खूबसूरत जगह है। वाकई कुंज नाम को सार्थक करती हुई। नजारा ऐसा की लौटने का मन ही नहीं होता। स्टाफ बहुत ही मृदु भाषी और सेवा को तत्पर। निशांत प्रभाकर जी, जो मालिक कम कुंज के पालनहार ज्यादा लगते हैं, उनकी वाणी से तो रस टपता है। बहुत ही दोस्ताना व्यवहार है।आपको लगेगा ही नहीं कि आप पहली बार मिल रहें हैं। बहुत ही कमाल का अनुभव रहा है चंद्रावल कुंज का जिसे शब्दों में बयां ही नहीं किया जा सकता।

This resort is named after Haryanvi Superhit movie - Chandrawal. Lead Actress of that movie Usha Sharma ji's son is the proud owner of this property.
I stayed for 1 night over here. This property is situated at a perfect secluded location surrounded by forest all around.
Property and rooms were very clean.
Food was awesome, we had bonfire in the evening as it was pretty cold.
Nishant ji's hospitality was out of the world.
People from Delhi/NCR should stay at this property as it is 20 min away from tikkar taal lake and probably oldest and best among the other properties over there.
Also whoever has watched any haryanvi movie, they should thank Devi Shankar Prabhakar ji who was the father of Haryanvi movies/culture. Nishant ji is the son of Devi Shankar Prabhakar ji.
So people from Delhi NCR should always stay at this property whenever they go to Morni Hills.

Place at nature's lap. So if you are looking for peace, go for it. Away from crowd.
Best season to visit: Monsoon, though you can visit anytime. It will remain beautiful.
Food: genuinely tasty. Sense of cooking was impeccable.
Price: worth the price Rs. 1500/room.
Service: top notch. Staff was so polite and humble.
No non-veg, only eggs.
Bring your own alcohol.
Best place for social detox. Stay away from phones to enjoy the environment.
Places to visit: there is tikkar taal lake nearby. You can go for trekking. There is one temple, a fort too. But we were there for one day and purpose was to relax. Bring your badminton or volleyball to enjoy.

To add to it are the beautiful cottages to stay which are surrounded by different species of conifers to give one that feel of living with the nature itself. This place is amazing. If you want to see real nature, go for it. You can hear birds, insects sounds 24*7. The best thing is there are only 4 huts so its never crowded.Weather is just awesome there. You can enjoy with family in your own space. Food was awesome. We tried so many things like burger, dosa, idli , hot chocolate etc. and we loved it. Poha is something i still miss here. Owner and staff are polite and helpful. Overall great stay.
Note: Its not a typical resort where you would see lots of games or activities. This place is to chill and meditate.There is no wifi so you have to rely on phone network but thats ok.

First of all what U see is Chandrawal and when u reach there then u see that Location of Chandrawal is like heaven in laps of nature. It's owner Nishant ji keep it's forest untouched and even he also grow more and more trees every year and maintain every greenery there. And second U meet there Nishant ji and their staff. As in my opinion they all r gentleman and treat u as a family member and take care of every thing u need from them. So is the reason everyone stay at Chandrawal feels like home. Nishant ji is awesome and helpful person taking care of everyone. And Third u need is food and their is master stroke in Chandrawal. Food there is as good as you taste in your home and even better than that. Staff there can also provide u food that are not in menu if u ask them in advance for any special dish.
And last, Must visit for every one. Go there and experience a different world of Mother Nature.

As from city like ludhiana which is an industrial hub of the country, we miss peace n pure environment.
Nishant is my university time friend and always see videos he shared on facebook, I always want to visit his place once.When we reached his resort it was so calm place which we needed and the scenic beauty was awesome.
The stay there was great experience for my family. Food was too good and the services provided by Mr. Dev was great.I want to thanks Mr. Dev to make us so comfortable. Meeting Nishant after 20 years is the bonus. I recommend this beautiful place to all my friends and colleagues.....

Nice comfortable stay, real clean and friendly staff. Beautiful view and peaceful environment. it is incredible value for money. I have visited several times at Chandrawal Kunj... and, could not find fault with anything. Best part about this place is directly dealing with the owner who is taking care of property very nicely and make all out efforts for the comfort of the visitors rather other places, where brokers and agents mislead people and not safe at all. As far as safety and family comfort is concern, this is the best place to stay. I cant wait to spend another holiday here with family. I recommend this place very highly, indeed. :)

Food was very delicious and the owner Mr. Nishant Chanderwal is very nice n humble guy.He himself is looking after all the activities whether it is food,cleanliness & other activities as well. It was a awesome experience to stay in chandrawal kunj. Owner is so polite and humble and welcome the guest like their family member. For location 5 star is less it should be 10 star. Staff is also very good and polite. Me and my family enjoyed our stay and I love to visit again and again. Only 2 suggestions to Mr. Nishant please do some arrangement of WIFI and for long stay kitchen can be provide to the guest like homestay so the people can stay for long time as in trend now work from mountain.

Best hospitality, truly a home away from home. Neat and clean with scrumptious food which tastes just like ur home food and is prepared freshly by the staff. It didn't seem I was in a hotel with very thing so perfect around. A trek around makes u see breathtaking views. Must go /stay for families. We were 9 adults with four kids and none of us got bored. The staff is courteous and anything to everything was just a call away. Thank u Chandrawal Kunj forest and retreat for making our stay memorable and comfortable. See u soon again ....

Couldn't believe i was getting manali- like vibes just an hour's drive away from chandigarh. The huts are well maintained and possess all luxury required.
Food tastes amazing and the service is on time with minimal waiting. Their rich and flavourful kadahi paneer and cheese chilli are a must try. Nishant's hospitality is unmatched. He personally makes sure that the guests are enjoying their stay. I highly recommend this place for a refresher with friends and family away from the hustling city life. Five stars!!

My decision of booking rooms at this property were quick as i saw the reviews and they were fantastic. This place is situated at a distance of one hour from chandigarh. The enroute road didn't had much traffic and with the owner sending me location, i didn't had any problem in finding it. It seldom happens that owner welcomes you to the property and explains every thing. If you book well in advance you can have choice of rooms too. The place is nothing less than heaven. I would like to mention here that people who are fond of calmness, serenity, natural beauty, birds should surely visit this place as it provides you a great, clean and serene atmosphere. I was lucky that mother nature made us feel the beauty of rain and blowing wind at night. The food here is less of a restaurant and more similar to what is served at home. It was a complete package for me and my family. I intend to visit this place in future and enjoy the relaxed environment. Thank you for hospitality Mr Nishant. You were very helpful and welcoming.
